We have developed our own spider friendly content management system (CMS), the kContent, over the past 10 years and we are fully confident it is the best on the market! The reason we believe the kContent is the best CMS is the fact that all the pages on the website are fully optimizable, and you control this optimization, to get the most from your site. Most other spider friendly sites don't allow this feature but with the kContent you can optimize everything from the URL of each page and head tags to the W3C compliant content editor.
The kContent compiles of:
- Easy Use - The kContent CMS was designed so that anyone who has basic computer literacy with word processing software, such as Microsoft Word, can create their own web pages and run their own website. The spider friendly pages are created on a simple to use WYSIWYG editor, so there is no need to learn HTML and you need no programming knowledge to use the kContent CMS.
- Worldwide Access - Our content management system is written in PHP and uses a secure mySQL database. It is fully password protected and can be accessed, via a web browser, by anyone in your company that has editing rights, from anywhere on the globe.
- We set it up and publish it for you - To begin with we design and publish the website, optimizing content if needed, we do the head tags and page titles then hand the website back to you - it's as easy as that! If our clients are not so confident with using their new kContent, we give up to 90 minutes of initial training on the system, with telephone and email back-up, if needed. We often discover, however, that most clients are comfortable in using their kContent CMS with half an hour's training.
- No Ongoing Costs - Once your website has been completed: designed, developed and published, we will supply you with a kContent CMS license. This gives you the rights to use the content management system during your lifetime, on the specified website. You can also assign the rights to use the kContent software to a future site owner should you decide to relinquish control of the site.
Because our CMS websites are spider friendly and optimized during development, the cost is variable to the size of the site e.g.: a 7 page site for a local bakers will be cheaper than a website that features and needs to be optimized for every type of car. Our costs are simply time based on how long the project will take. The kContent are more expensive than the non-optimizable competitors (which are inferior compared to the kContent) but this is because you pay for the quality of our system, and most sites can be completed within a 3-5 week timescale depending on the size of the project.
